PELATIHAN WARPPLS: APLIKASI ALTERNATIF PENGUJIAN HIPOTESIS SEM-PLS

Pengolahan data untuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan aplikasi-aplikasi statistik sudah sangat penting sehingga dalam perkembangannya membuat dosen dan mahasiswa harus mengetahui paling tidak salah satu diantara berbagai aplikasi tersebut. Pengetahuan akan penguasaan aplikasi pengolah data SEM-PLS inilah yang dirasa masih kurang sehingga menjadi kendala utama bagi dosen dan mahasiswa, demikian pula oleh mahasiswa Pascasarjana Magister Manajemen Universitas Pattimura (MM-Unpatti), khususnya pada saat akan menyusun tesis. Sehingga tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini yaitu memberikan contoh praktik sekaligus penerapan aplikasi WarpPLS untuk mengolah data SEM-PLS dalam rangka menguji hipotesis penelitian serta cara menginterpretasikan hasil olah data pada aplikasi tersebut. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan secara online dengan metode synchronous online learning. Aplikasi WarpPLS dikembangkan langsung oleh Ned Kock dan memiliki 5 tahapan. Kegiatan pelatihan WarpPLS sebagai aplikasi alternatif pengujian hipotesis SEM-PLS telah berjalan dengan lancar. Tahapan untuk menjalankan aplikasi ini juga telah dijelaskan secara berurutan sekaligus cara menginterpretasi hasil pengolahan data. Disarankan untuk kegiatan pelatihan WarpPLS ini, dilaksanakan secara tatap muka (offline) supaya lebih efektif karena terdapat interaksi langsung antara pemateri dengan peserta pelatihan.References
