Analysis of Readiness and Constraints of Sekolah Penggerak Teachers on the Implementation of the Prototype Curriculum (Merdeka Curriculum)

This study aims to analyze the readiness and constraints experienced by the teachers of Sekolah Penggerak in Ternate City towards the implementation of the prototype curriculum or commonly known as the Merdeka Curriculum. This research is a descriptive research. The subjects of this study were high school teachers in Ternate City who were included in the Sekolah Penggerak including SMAN 1, SMAN 8, SMAS IT Nurul Hasan, SMPN 1, SMPN 4 and SMP IT Nurul Hasan. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets, questionnaires and interview guidelines. The research data were analyzed descriptively. The research data shows that the knowledge of teachers about the merdeka curriculum is in the medium category (40,9%). Socialization about the merdeka curriculum has been very often done in schools (39,4%). The readiness of teachers in implementing an merdeka curriculum is in the high category (54,5%). Preparations that have been made include designing learning according to the merdeka curriculum (45,5%), the ability to evaluate learning (45,5%), the ability to prepare ICT-based media (36,4%), and participation in the teacher driving program (42,4%). Obstacles faced by teachers in implementing an merdeka curriculum include adjustment and understanding of learning tools (modules and project designs), limited learning media and lack of training on an imerdeka curriculum.Downloads
