Usulan Perbaikan Fasilitas Kerja Ergonomis Berdasarkan Hasil Analisis Metode REBA pada Stasiun Pengemasan Bale

PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company that produces cigarettes. There is a workstation that is still done manually, namely the packaging section. Work that is done manually can pose a risk to occupational health and safety. Initial observations show that every day there are workers who are absent due to fatigue and illness. Inappropriate working posture can cause fatigue and health problems. Analysis of the risk level of work posture using the REBA method. The results of the analysis of work posture with REBA showed scores of 5, 10, and 7 for each type of bale packaging work. This score indicates a high level of risk and the need for improvement in work posture. Improvement of work posture in this study was carried out by redesigning ergonomic work facilities with an anthropometry approach. Analysis using the REBA method was also carried out for work posture in the proposed work facility design with simulation. The results of the analysis showed a decrease in risk as indicated by REBA scores of 3, 6, and 5 for each type of bale packaging work.References
