Pemberdayaan perempuan dipandang sebagai salah satu pendekatan strategis dalam upaya meningkatkan kesejahteraan rumah tangga, khususnya pada komunitas pesisir dan wilayah pedesaan yang masih menghadapi keterbatasan akses terhadap sumber-sumber ekonomi. Salah satu potensi ekonomi lokal yang dapat dioptimalkan adalah kegiatan usaha rumahan yang berbasis pengolahan hasil perikanan, seperti produksi kerupuk kemplang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kontribusi pemberdayaan perempuan melalui pengembangan usaha kerupuk kemplang terhadap peningkatan ekonomi keluarga. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus, melibatkan perempuan pelaku usaha kerupuk kemplang sebagai informan utama. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, sementara analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif analitis dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan usaha kerupuk kemplang berperan dalam meningkatkan pendapatan rumah tangga, memperkuat kemandirian ekonomi perempuan, serta meningkatkan kemampuan dalam aspek produksi dan pengelolaan usaha. Di samping itu, partisipasi aktif perempuan dalam usaha tersebut turut mendorong penguatan peran perempuan dalam pengambilan keputusan ekonomi di tingkat keluarga. Dengan demikian, pemberdayaan perempuan melalui pengembangan usaha kerupuk kemplang terbukti menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga dan memiliki prospek keberlanjutan untuk mendukung pembangunan ekonomi berbasis potensi lokal.References
