LABIOPLASTY DALAM PERSPEKTIF KLINIS DAN ESTETIKA: SCOPING REVIEW TERHADAP PRAKTIK DAN BUKTI ILMIAH

Penelitian ini mengkaji praktik labioplasty dari perspektif klinis dan estetika melalui scoping review terhadap bukti ilmiah yang ada. Hasil review menunjukkan bahwa labioplasty umumnya memberikan manfaat positif, baik secara fisik maupun psikologis, seperti peningkatan kenyamanan dan citra tubuh pasien. Berbagai teknik operasi, seperti wedge resection, trim, dan laser-assisted labioplasty, terbukti efektif dengan tingkat kepuasan pasien yang tinggi dan risiko komplikasi yang rendah jika dilakukan oleh tenaga medis profesional. Namun, keputusan pasien sering kali dipengaruhi oleh norma estetika sosial dan informasi yang tidak selalu berbasis medis, sehingga penting adanya edukasi menyeluruh dan konseling sebelum operasi, terutama pada pasien remaja. Selain itu, protokol pascaoperasi yang baik serta perhatian pada aspek budaya dan hukum menjadi kunci keberhasilan jangka panjang prosedur ini. Oleh karena itu, praktik labioplasty perlu dijalankan secara etis, individual, dan berdasarkan bukti ilmiah yang kuat untuk menjamin perlindungan dan kesejahteraan pasien secara menyeluruh.References
