FRAKTUR MAKSILOFASIAL DALAM LITERATUR GLOBAL: KAJIAN SCOPING REVIEW TERHADAP DIAGNOSIS DAN TERAPI

Fraktur maksilofasial merupakan salah satu bentuk trauma kraniofasial yang sering terjadi dan memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap fungsi, estetika, dan kualitas hidup pasien. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan memetakan temuan global terkait diagnosis dan terapi fraktur maksilofasial melalui pendekatan scoping review. Berdasarkan hasil penelusuran literatur internasional, ditemukan bahwa penyebab fraktur wajah sangat bervariasi secara geografis; di negara berkembang umumnya disebabkan oleh kecelakaan lalu lintas, sedangkan di negara maju lebih banyak dikaitkan dengan kekerasan interpersonal dan jatuh pada lansia. Diagnosis terkini telah berkembang dengan dukungan teknologi seperti CT-scan, Cone Beam CT, serta penerapan kecerdasan buatan untuk deteksi otomatis. Di sisi terapi, pendekatan bedah seperti open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) dan teknologi pencetakan 3D memberikan hasil klinis yang lebih presisi dan efisien. Pendekatan multidisipliner dan rehabilitasi pascaoperasi terbukti mendukung pemulihan fungsi secara optimal. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat kesenjangan dalam standar global penanganan kasus, menandakan perlunya pedoman internasional berbasis bukti yang dapat diadopsi lintas sistem layanan kesehatan. Kajian ini memberikan gambaran komprehensif mengenai dinamika penanganan fraktur maksilofasial dan menekankan pentingnya sinergi antara teknologi, kebijakan preventif, dan kolaborasi global dalam peningkatan kualitas perawatan.References
