Abstract

With the COVID-19 pandemic, the government has implemented a policy of all learning done remotely / online. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, several schools used the 2013 Curriculum. The 2013 Curriculum proved that the curriculum was not in accordance with the current situation. This makes the government have an important role to overcome this problem, namely by issuing an emergency curriculum. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum during the COVID-19 pandemic, which in more detail included the learning process, the advantages and disadvantages of implementing the 2013 Curriculum, whether the 2013 Curriculum learning was effective during a pandemic, and the preparation of teachers for further learning during the pandemic. This research was conducted through a google form questionnaire. The results showed that the 2013 Curriculum learning process which was carried out during the pandemic was not effective because it was very burdensome for teachers, students, and parents. The advantages are that students are required to be active, there are assessments from all aspects, competency-based assessment standards, and the emergence of character education, while the drawbacks are that many teachers are not ready, the mastery of technology and information is still limited, and signal difficulties. Teacher preparation for further learning during the pandemic is that teachers are required to be creative and innovative so that learning can run effectively even though learning is done online. Keywords: curriculum, pandemic, learning.
