Abstract This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a social media-based feminine hygiene education model in transforming health education among adolescent girls. Employing a quasi-experimental design, the study involved 60 female students from SMK Fatimah Mamuju, divided into intervention and control groups. The intervention group received education through audio-visual content on social media, while the control group received standard health education. Results demonstrated a significant improvement in feminine hygiene knowledge and practices within the intervention group (p<0.001). Preferences for educational media varied based on cultural background and education level, with videos and mobile applications emerging as primary choices. This study reveals that the social media-based approach is effective in enhancing accessibility to health information, reducing stigma, and promoting positive behavioral changes. These findings highlight the transformative potential of integrating digital technology in reproductive health education, providing important implications for developing more effective and inclusive health promotion strategies for adolescents.Downloads
