ABSTRAK Diabetes Melitus menjadi salah satu masalah kesehatan masyarakat global terbesar di sebagian besar negara maju dan berkembang untuk itu kepatuhan terhadap pengobatan dibutuhkan bagi pasien DM dalam mengelola diabetes dengan memahami bagaimana prosedur penggunaan insulin yang sesuai dengan petunjuk pengobatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan pasien DM tipe 2 dalam penggunaan insulin di poli klinik rawat jalan RSUD Banggai. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif analitik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien DM tipe 2 berkunjung ke Poli Klinik Rawat Jalan RSUD Banggai dengan sampel sebanyak 33 responden menggunakan tekhnik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli-Agustus 2023, dengan hasil tingkat pengetahuan p value <0.05 (0.043) dan r (-0.393)) dan motivasi (p value <0.05 (0.012) dan r (0.443)) termasuk faktor yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan pasien DM dalam penggunaan insulin, sementara sikap (p value = 0.306 atau lebih besar dari (>0.05) tidak menjadi faktor yang mempengaruhi kepatuhan pasien DM dalam penggunaan insulin di Poli Rawat Jalan RSUD Banggai. Simpulan, perawat sebagai tenaga kesehatan ikut bertanggung jawab dalam pemberian pendidikan di masyarakat dan juga caregiver dalam penatalaksanaan terkait kepatuhan penggunaan insulin. ABSTRACT Diabetes melitus is one of the largest global public health problems in large parts of developed and developing countries for which obedience to treatment is needed for dm patients to manage diabetes by understanding how the insulin use procedures fit the treatment guidelines. The purpose of this study is to analyze factors that affect the insulin obedience of dm patient 2 in the rsud nursing clinic. This type of research is a quantitative study with an analtic descriptive research design. The population in this study is the dm patient visiting the rsud outpatient clinic prided with a sample of 33 respondents. The study was carried out in juli-august 2023, with knowledge levels (0043) and motivation (0012) and r(0443) as well as factors affecting dm patient's obedience in insulin use, while the attitude (p value = 0,306 or greater than (>0.05) does not factor in the obedience of dm patient in the insulin use of the rsud street administration. The conclusion is that nurses as health workers are responsible for teaching education in the community as well as caregiver in the policy regarding the observance of insulin..
