Abstract

Paparan sinar matahari dapat menyebabkan kerusakan kulit yang serius. Penyuluhan mengenai kerusakan kulit akibat paparan sinar matahari memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang risiko yang terkait dan langkah-langkah pencegahan yang dapat diambil. Kegiatan penyuluhan memberikan informasi yang akurat dan ilmiah mengenai efek buruk sinar UV pada kulit, termasuk penuaan dini, bintik-bintik gelap, kanker kulit, dan gangguan pigmen. Selain itu, penyuluhan juga memberikan pemahaman mengenai pentingnya penggunaan tabir surya, pakaian pelindung, penghindaran paparan sinar matahari pada jam-jam terik, dan perawatan kulit yang tepat. Pencegahan kerusakan kulit akibat paparan sinar matahari melalui penyuluhan juga melibatkan pengenalan gaya hidup sehat, seperti menghindari penggunaan tanning bed dan merokok, serta mengadopsi pola makan yang kaya antioksidan. Dengan adanya penyuluhan yang tepat, masyarakat dapat mengambil tindakan pencegahan yang efektif untuk melindungi kulit mereka dari kerusakan yang disebabkan oleh paparan sinar matahari. Penyuluhan ini memiliki implikasi penting dalam mengurangi insiden kerusakan kulit dan mempromosikan kesehatan kulit yang optimal dalam masyarakat secara keseluruhan.
