Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) merupakan gangguan endokrin yang ditandai dengan hipergllikemia yang penyebabnya sangat bervariasi. Prevalensi DM yang kian meningkat secara global maupun di Indonesia. Diabetes yang lama dapat menyebabkan berbagai komplikasi diantaranya neuropati dengan resiko tinggi menyebabkan luka kaki diabetik (LKD) yang dapat berujung amputasi. Deteksi pasien DM yang mengalami neuropati dapat dilakukan dengan metode Ipswich Touch Tes (IpTT). Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk melakukan pelatihan scrining kaki pasien yang mengalami diabetes sesuai dengan SOP bagi tenaga Kesehatan. Metodologi: Metode penelitian tindakan ini dengan menginterpretasikan dan menjelaskan prosedur pemeriksaan kaki diabetes tehnik IpTT yang dilakukan pada tanggal 29 Maret dan 13 Mei 2023. Pemaparan materi pelatihan dan praktik pemeriksaan sensasi kaki dengan metode IpTT bagi tenaga kesehatan di Puskesmas Sekban dan Puskesmas Fakfak Tengah dengan jumlah partisipan 43 orang. Kriteria partisipan yaitu tenaga Kesehatan (Perawat, Bidan, Dokter, Kesmas) yang bersedia mengikuti sampai selesai. Questionare online dan manual digunakan dalam kegiatan ini. Data dianalisis dengan Uji Statistik SPSS 25 Pairet Sampel T-Test pre dan post penelitian. Hasil: Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai p value 0.001, peningkatan skor rerata yaitu 13. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan peserta sebelum dan setelah dilakukan kegiatan pelatihan scrining kaki pada pasien diabetes.
