Abstract

Learning with this online system brings positive and negative impacts is the unpreparedness and busyness of parents in assisting children’s learning. Therefore, the solution to overcome this problem is that parents must be able to divide their time between work and accompanying their children to study.This study aims to describe how parental assistance, form of parental assistance and parental barriers in distance learning ( online ) at SDN 145 Tanjung Menanti. This research includes field research ( Field Reseach ), namely this research goes directly to the field to conduct direct observations about home learning assistance by parents during Covid-19in class II SDN 145 Tanjung Menanti. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research where in this study more emphasis on data analysis and conclusions. From the result of this study it can be concluded that parents accompany their chilren to learn by dividing time between work and accompanying children in learning. But there are also parents who are busy at work so their children learn less.
