Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts are evaluated by editorial staff. Those Manuscript evaluated by editors to be inappropiate to journal criteria are rejected promptly without external review. Manuscript evaluated to be of potential interest to our readership are sent to single bilnd Peer reviewers. The editors then make a decision based on the reviewer's recommendation from among several possibilities : rejected, revision required, or accepted.
The editor has the right to decide which manuscripts submitted to the journal should be published. Review Process:
1. Initial Manuscript Evaluation
The Editor first evaluates all manuscripts. Manuscripts rejected at this stage are insufficiently original, have serious scientific flaws, have poor grammar or English/Indonesian language, or are outside the aims and scope of the journal. Those that meet the minimum criteria are normally passed on to at least 2 experts for review.
2. Type of Peer Review
Journal of Education and Creatifity (Joecy) employs single bilnd reviewing, where the referees remain anonymous throughout the process. Referees are assigned to the paper according to their expertise and our database is constantly being updated.
3. Referee Reports
Referees are asked to evaluate whether the manuscript: - Is original - Is methodologically sound - Follows appropriate ethical guidelines - Has results which are clearly presented and support the conclusions - Correctly references previous relevant work. Language correction is not part of the peer review process, but referees may, if so wish, suggest corrections to the manuscript.
4. Final Report
A final decision to accept or reject the manuscript will be sent to the author along with any recommendations made by the referees, and may include verbatim comments by the referees.
5. Editor’s Decision is final
Referees advise the editor, who is responsible for the final decision to accept or reject the article.
