HUBUNGAN MOVEMENT BEHAVIOUR DENGAN PERUBAHAN BERAT BADAN PADA SISWA/I SMP

Sejak bulan Maret 2020, Indonesia dan negara-negara di dunia dihadapkan dengan pandemi COVID-19. Pandemi COVID-19 ini memiliki tingkat penularan yang tinggi sehingga pencegahan yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menerapkan kebijakan yang membatasi pergerakan. Kebijakan dirasakan dalam berbagai sektor, salah satunya adalah sektor pendidikan yaitu pembelajaran jarak jauh. Pembelajaran jarak jauh tersebut mengubah pola perilaku sehari-hari atau movement behaviour pada anak dan remaja. Movement behaviour tersebut mencakup penurunan tingkat aktifitas fisik, durasi tidur yang tidak sesuai dan peningkatan kegiatan sedentary. Perubahan perilaku tersebut dapat berpengaruh terhadap berat badan seseorang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan movement behaviour dengan perubahan berat badan sebelum dan selama pandemi COVID-19 pada siswa SMP di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Tarakanita, Tangerang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian analitik dengan desain potong-lintang dengan jumlah responden adalah 239 siswa. Pengambilan sampel secara online dengan pengisian kuesioner. Hasil yang didapatkan, karakteristik movement behaviour sebagian siswa 177 (74,1%) melakukan aktifitas fisik kurang dari 1680 MET-menit/ minggu, 157 (65,7%) siswa tidur dengan durasi 6-8 jam, 70 (29,3%) siswa melakukan sedentary behaviour dengan durasi 3-4 jam dan 123 (51,5%) siswa tidak memenuhi ketiga pedoman Movement Behaviour. Sebagian besar siswa 226 (94,6%) mengalami perubahan berat badan dan 13 (5,4%) siswa tidak mengalami perubahan berat badan sebelum dan selama pandemi. Uji statistik menunjukkan terdapat hubungan bermakna antara movement behaviour dengan perubahan berat badan dengan r=-0,195 dan p=0,003.References
