METODE PHYSIOEX®️ DAN KOMBINASI DENGAN KONVENSIONAL DALAM PRAKTIKUM FISIOLOGI RESPIRASI MAHASISWA KEDOKTERAN : SUATU PERBANDINGAN

Penguasaan praktikum fisiologi respirasi sangat penting bagi mahasiswa kedokteran karena berhubungan langsung dengan pemahaman fungsi vital sistem pernapasan. Laboratorium virtual PhysioEx® telah digunakan sebagai media utama praktikum, namun hasil evaluasi menunjukkan tingkat kelulusan dan rata-rata nilai praktikum masih rendah. Praktikum konvensional memberikan penjelasan konseptual dam pengalaman langsung dalam pengukuran parameter fisiologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi metode pembelajaran praktikum fisiologi respirasi yang lebih efektif, dengan membandingkan penggunaan PhysioEx® saja dengan kombinasi praktikum konvensional dan PhysioEx® pada mahasiswa kedokteran Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan true experimental dengan desain pretest–posttest control group pada 58 mahasiswa yang dibagi secara acak menjadi kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan. Penguasaan praktikum diukur menggunakan tes pilihan ganda pretest dan posttest. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan dengan uji paired t-test, Wilcoxon, independent t-test, dan Mann–Whitney U sesuai hasil uji normalitas. Kedua kelompok menunjukkan peningkatan skor yang signifikan antara pretest dan posttest, menunjukkan bahwa baik PhysioEx® tunggal maupun kombinasi metode mampu meningkatkan penguasaan praktikum. Namun, uji perbandingan antar kelompok pada nilai posttest menunjukkan perbedaan yang bermakna secara statistik (p < 0,05). Kombinasi praktikum konvensional dan PhysioEx® lebih efektif dibandingkan penggunaan PhysioEx® saja dalam meningkatkan penguasaan praktikum fisiologi respirasi mahasiswa kedokteran.References
