HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA DENGAN KEPATUHAN MINUM OBAT PADA LANSIA HIPERTENSI

Pendahuluan: Usia lanjut merupakan tahap kehidupan yang rentan terhadap berbagai masalah kesehatan, salah satunya adalah hipertensi. Hipertensi merupakan penyakit tidak menular dengan angka kejadian tertinggi dibandingkan penyakit tidak menular lainnya. Pengelolaan hipertensi pada lansia membutuhkan kepatuhan dalam minum obat secara teratur, di mana kepatuhan merupakan faktor utama keberhasilan pengendalian tekanan darah. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dan kepatuhan minum obat pada lansia dengan hipertensi di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Rowosari. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif korelasional melalui pendekatan cross-sectional. Sebanyak 336 lansia dengan hipertensi berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lansia yang mendapat dukungan keluarga yang baik cenderung memiliki tingkat kepatuhan minum obat yang lebih tinggi. Pengujian statistik menggunakan Chi Square menunjukkan nilai p sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dan kepatuhan minum obat pada lansia dengan hipertensi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Rowosari. Kesimpulan: Program pengelolaan hipertensi untuk lansia harus lebih menekankan keterlibatan keluarga melalui pendidikan kesehatan, bantuan pengobatan, dan penguatan peran petugas kesehatan dalam meningkatkan dukungan keluarga untuk mendorong kepatuhan pengobatan dan mencegah komplikasi hipertensi.References
