HUBUNGAN GEJALA SINDROM EKSTRAPIRAMIDAL DENGAN KEPATUHAN PENGOBATAN PADA PASIEN SKIZOFRENIA DI RSUD DR. SOEROTO NGAWI

Skizofrenia merupakan gangguan mental kronis yang memerlukan terapi antipsikotik jangka panjang. Penggunaan antipsikotik dapat menimbulkan efek samping sindrom ekstrapiramidal (EPS) yang berpotensi memengaruhi kepatuhan pengobatan dan meningkatkan risiko kekambuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara gejala sindrom ekstrapiramidal dengan kepatuhan pengobatan pada pasien skizofrenia di RSUD dr. Soeroto Ngawi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif observasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel sebanyak 80 pasien skizofrenia yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi diambil menggunakan probability sampling. Gejala EPS dinilai menggunakan Simpson–Angus Scale (SAS), sedangkan kepatuhan pengobatan diukur dengan Medication Adherence Rating Scale-10 (MARS-10). Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman. Sebanyak 16,25% pasien mengalami gejala sindrom ekstrapiramidal. Tingkat kepatuhan pengobatan berdasarkan MARS-10 menunjukkan 78,75% pasien patuh, 5,00% cukup patuh, dan 16,25% tidak patuh. Uji korelasi Spearman menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang kuat antara gejala sindrom ekstrapiramidal dan kepatuhan pengobatan (r = -0,888; p < 0,001). Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara gejala sindrom ekstrapiramidal dan kepatuhan pengobatan pada pasien skizofrenia.
