HUBUNGAN KECACINGAN STH DENGAN KEJADIAN STUNTING PADA ANAK-ANAK USIA SEKOLAH : SYSTEMATIC REVIEW DAN META ANALISIS

Soil-transmitted helminth ditularkan melalui tanah yang telah terkontaminasi, infeksi STH dapat mempengaruhi status gizi dan merusak proses kognitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kecacingan STH dengan kejadian stunting pada anak-anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan sistematik riview studi dan meta analisis yang dilakukan dengan pedoman PRISMA. Pencarian asrtikel dilakukan dnegan mempertimbangkan kriteria kelayakan yang didefinisikan dalam modek PICO. Population= anak-anak usia sekolah, Intervention= kecacingan STH, Comparison= tidak kecacingan STH, Outcome= stunting. Proses pencarian artikel dilakukan antara tahun 2017 – 2025 dari database Pubmed, Science Direct, Google Scholar, Springer Link, Hindawi, dan Plose One. Kata kunci yang digunakan adalah “STH” “Stunting”, “STH AND Children”, “STH AND Stunting”. Kriteria inklusi pada penelitian ini adalah teks lengkap studi cross-sectional, membahas kecacingan STH terhadap kejadian stunting pada anak-anak sekolah, diterbitkan dalam bahasa Inggris. Hasil akhir disajikan dalam aOR pada analisa multivariat. Analisa data dilakukan dengan RevMan 5.4. Meta analisis dilakukan pada 11 artikel yang berasal dari Afrika, Amerika Selatan, dan Asia. Hasil meta analisis menunjukkan anak-anak yang kecacingan STH dapat mengalami kejadian stunting, tetapi tidak signifikan secara statistik (aOR= 1.33 CI 95%= 0.59 hingga 2.98; p= 0.49).
