PRENATAL GENTLE YOGA TERHADAP KADAR GLUKOSA DARAH IBU HAMIL TRIMESTER II DAN III DENGAN RESIKO DIABETES GESTASIONAL

Diabetes Mellitus Gestasional (DMG) merupakan gangguan toleransi glukosa yang muncul selama kehamilan, umumnya terjadi pada trimester kedua, dan dapat menyebabkan berbagai komplikasi bagi ibu maupun janin. Pencegahan serta pengendalian DMG sejak dini sangat penting, khususnya pada ibu hamil yang memiliki faktor risiko. Salah satu pendekatan non-farmakologis yang aman dan potensial dalam pengendalian kadar glukosa darah adalah yoga prenatal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh yoga prenatal terhadap kadar gula darah pada ibu hamil dengan risiko DMG. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre-eksperimental dengan pendekatan one-group pretest-posttest. Sampel berjumlah 15 ibu hamil trimester II dan III yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria inklusi. Intervensi dilakukan dengan pelatihan yoga prenatal selama 4 minggu, sebanyak 1 kali per minggu, dengan durasi 45 menit setiap sesi. Kadar gula darah acak diukur sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya penurunan kadar glukosa darah rata-rata sebesar 10,4 mg/dL setelah intervensi, dengan hasil uji paired t-test menunjukkan nilai p = 0,0019 (p < 0,05), yang berarti penurunan tersebut signifikan secara statistik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa prenatal yoga efektif menurunkan kadar glukosa darah pada ibu hamil dengan risiko DMG. Prenatal yoga dapat dijadikan sebagai intervensi komplementer yang aman, efektif, dan mudah diterapkan dalam upaya promotif dan preventif pengendalian diabetes gestasional dan menjadi dasar pengembangan program edukatif berbasis aktivitas fisik dalam pelayanan antenatal.References
