ADAPTASI EMOSI PASIEN TUNA RUNGU DENGAN GANGGUAN AFEKTIF BIPOLAR EPISODE MANIK DI RUMAH SAKIT ERNALDI BAHAR PALEMBANG

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses adaptasi emosi pasien tuna rungu dengan gangguan afektif bipolar episode manik di RS Ernaldi Bahar Palembang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif berbasis laporan kasus klinis pasien berinisial Tn. W, laki-laki berusia 27 tahun, tuna rungu dan tuna wicara sejak lahir, yang datang dengan gejala mania dan perilaku agresif. Data dikumpulkan melalui telaah catatan medis dan wawancara dengan tenaga medis yang menangani. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa keterbatasan komunikasi merupakan faktor utama yang mempersulit pengelolaan emosi, menyebabkan ledakan amarah, perilaku destruktif, dan ancaman kekerasan. Strategi adaptasi emosi pasien meliputi penarikan diri sosial, ekspresi emosi nonverbal, serta ketergantungan terhadap keluarga. Pendekatan terapeutik yang efektif mencakup kombinasi psikofarmaka (Haloperidol, Risperidone), terapi suportif keluarga, dan pembinaan spiritual. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya layanan kesehatan jiwa yang inklusif bagi penyandang disabilitas pendengaran dengan penyediaan komunikasi alternatif seperti bahasa isyarat dan media visual.References
