LITERATUR REVIEW: TERAPI KOMPLEMENTER SEBAGAI UPAYA PENCEGAHAN DEPRESI POSTPARTUM

Ibu postpartum akan mengalami banyak perubahan psikologis bahkan sebelum memasuki masa postpartum. Kecemasan ibu dalam menghadapi masa nifas mengakibatkan berbagai permasalahan psikologis salah satunya yaitu depresi postpartum. Depresi postpartum adalah gangguan kesehatan mental yang terjadi pada ibu setelah melahirkan, ditandai dengan perasaan sedih, cemas dan kelelahan yang ekstrem. Ibu postpartum membutuhkan banyak dukungan dari orang terdekat maupun tenaga profesional. Salah satu kebutuhan ibu postpartum adalah mendapatkan terapi komplementer yang bersifat non farmakologis. Intervensi non farmakologis adalah intervensi kesehatan yang tidak melibatkan penggunaan obat-obatan untuk meningkatkan kesehatan, mengelola penyakit atau meredakan nyeri. Metode ini hanya berfokus pada intervensi seperti terapi fisik, perubahan gaya hidup serta perubahan lingkungan sekitar. Tujuan Penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas penerapan terapi komplementer untuk mencegah depresi postpartum. Metode penulisan dilakukan dengan mencari dan melakukan tinjauan literatur terhadap jurnal yang bersumber dari Google Scholar, Sciencedirect dan PubMed dengan kata kunci depresi, postpartum dan komplementer. Artikel diambil dari tahun 2021-2025 dan menunjukkan hasil pencarian awal sebanyak 1.722 artikel publikasi yang menghasilkan sembilan penelitian yang diulas. Kajian yang diulas menunjukkan bahwa penerapan berbagai terapi tambahan yang bersifat non farmakologis mampu mengurangi serta mencegah gejala depresi pascapersalinan. Harapannya bidan mampu memberikan pelayanan alternatif asuhan kebidanan dengan pendekatan terapi komplementer yang berbasis non farmakologis.References
