STRIKTUR ESOFAGUS : LAPORAN KASUS

Striktur esofagus merupakan penyempitan lumen esofagus akibat proses fibrosis dinding yang umumnya disebabkan oleh inflamasi kronis, terutama akibat penyakit refluks gastroesofageal (GERD). Kondisi ini dapat menyebabkan disfagia progresif yang berdampak pada status nutrisi dan kualitas hidup pasien. Deteksi dan terapi yang tepat sangat penting untuk mencegah komplikasi lebih lanjut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses diagnosis dan penatalaksanaan striktur esofagus pada pasien dengan riwayat GERD. Penelitian ini merupakan studi deskriptif berupa laporan kasus pada seorang wanita berusia 60 tahun yang datang dengan keluhan makanan terasa tertahan di tenggorokan selama lima tahun terakhir, memburuk dalam satu minggu terakhir. Data dikumpulkan melalui anamnesis, pemeriksaan fisik, serta pemeriksaan penunjang meliputi rontgen toraks, CT scan toraks, dan rencana endoskopi. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif berdasarkan temuan klinis dan radiologis. Pemeriksaan menunjukkan kondisi umum stabil dengan status nutrisi baik. Pemeriksaan radiologi menunjukkan dilatasi esofagus dengan penyempitan di esophagogastric junction sepanjang ±4,5 cm dan penebalan dinding ±8 mm yang sesuai dengan gambaran striktur esofagus. Pasien mendapat terapi medikamentosa dan dianjurkan menjalani endoskopi untuk evaluasi lanjut. Diagnosis striktur esofagus memerlukan pendekatan multidisiplin dengan kombinasi anamnesis, pemeriksaan fisik, dan pencitraan. Deteksi dini serta terapi yang tepat dapat memperbaiki gejala disfagia dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien.References
