UPAYA MENURUNKAN KASUS DIARE PADA MASYARAKAT DESA BABAKAN, WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS LEGOK

Diare menempati peringkat ketiga sebagai penyebab kematian pada anak berusia 1-59 bulan dan dapat menyebabkan kematian pada semua kelompok usia diseluruh dunia. Amerika Serikat menyumbang 179 juta kunjungan rawat jalan setiap tahunnya pada pasien dewasa dengan diare. Sedangkan prevalensi kasus diare di Indonesia mencapai 6,8% pada tahun 2018 pada semua kelompok usia. Terjadi peningkatan kasus diare sebesar 1,7 kali lipat (tahun 2024-2025) di Puskesmas Legok dibandingkan periode sebelumnya. Walaupun diare sering dianggap remeh namun penyakit ini dapat menyebabkan komplikasi berupa kematian jika tidak ditangani dengan tepat. Kegiatan diagnosis komunitas ini bertujuan untuk menurunkan jumlah kasus diare di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Legok. Kegiatan diawali dengan mengidentifikasi penyebab masalah menggunakan Paradigma Blum. Faktor lifestyle ditetapkan menjadi penyebab masalah. Penentuan prioritas penyebab masalah menggunakan teknik non-skoring Delphi, identifikasi akar penyebab masalah dengan diagram fishbone dan diusulkan alternatif pemecahan masalah berupa penyuluhan, skrining diare, dan demonstrasi cara penyajian oralit. Selama intervensi berjalan, kegiatan dipantau menggunakan Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle (PDCA) dan setelah intervensi berakhir kegiatan dievaluasi dengan pendekatan sistem. Dari 30 masyarakat yang hadir, 100% masyakarat mengalami peningkatan nilai pre-test ke post-test ³ 70 poin dengan peningkatan rerata nilai sebesar 36,45 poin. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat terkait diare dan diharapkan dapat terjadi penurunan jumlah kasus diare di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Legok.References
