TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN GIZI IBU DENGAN TINGKAT KERAWANAN PANGAN PADA KELUARGA NELAYAN

Ketahanan pangan terjadi ketika individu memiliki akses fisik, sosial, dan ekonomi terhadap makanan yang bergizi, aman, dan memadai untuk memenuhi kebutuhan harian serta preferensi makanan guna mendukung hidup sehat. Kerawanan pangan terjadi apabila akses terhadap makanan yang aman dan bergizi tidak tersedia, baik disertai kelaparan maupun tidak. Meskipun kerawanan pangan dapat mempengaruhi semua kelompok usia, anak-anak dan wanita usia subur merupakan kelompok yang paling rentan terhadap dampaknya. Kerawanan pangan tetap menjadi isu global meskipun telah dilakukan berbagai upaya untuk menghapus kemiskinan ekstrem dan meningkatkan suplai pangan di tingkat global maupun nasional, terutama di negara berpendapatan rendah dan menengahMeningkatkan ketersediaan dan keterjangkauan pangan saat ini menjadi salah satu strategi dalam menurunkan kasus malnutrisi di negara-negara dengan pendapatan rendah. Akan tetapi dampak malnutrisi bukan hanya terjadi akibat keterbatasan sumber daya, tetapi juga dari faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan perilaku pemilihan makanan dan praktik makan. Tujun penelitian ini yaitu untuk melihat korelasi antara tingkat pengetahuan gizi ibu dengan tingkat kerawanan pangan pada keluarga nelayan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel berjumlah 117 sampel yang diambil menggunakan teknik total sampling. Terdapat korelasi antara tingkat pengetahuan gizi ibu dengan tingkat kerawanan pangan pada keluarga nelayan dengan nilai p = 0,000 (<0,05) dengan koefisien korelasi -0,639.References
