Kanker metastasis tulang merupakan salah satu komplikasi yang sering dialami oleh pasien kanker dan menimbulkan dampak serius terhadap kualitas hidup. Radioterapi menjadi salah satu metode utama dalam penaganannya sehingga radioterapi menjadi salah satu metode utama dalam penanganannya. Keberhasilan terapi ini ditentukan oleh ketepatan distribusi dosis radiasi pada target serta upaya meminimalkan paparan radiasi pada jaringan sehat di sekitarnya, yang sangat dipengaruhi oleh pemilihan alat imobilisasi pasien. Vacuum bag merupakan salah satu perangkat fiksasi yang digunakan untuk menjaga posisi tubuh pasien secara stabil dan ergonomis, sekaligus mengurangi pergerakan serta rasa nyeri selama proses radioterapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak penggunaan fiksasi vacuum bag terhadap penyebaran dosis pada pasien kanker metastasis tulang melalui studi kasus di salah satu rumah sakit di Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi ilmiah terkait efektivitas vacuum bag dalam meningkatkan akurasi distribusi dosis, serta menjadi dasar pertimbangan klinis bagi tenaga medis dalam memilih metode imobilisasi yang tepat untuk menunjang keberhasilan radioterapi.References
