PENGARUH PELAYANAN KEPERAWATAN BERBASIS THEORY OF HUMAN CARING TERHADAP MUTU PELAYANAN KEPERAWATAN

Perawat sebagai profesi tenaga kesehatan dengan jumlah terbanyak mempunyai kontribusi besar dalam mewujudkan pelayanan kesehatan yang bermutu. Caring menjadi salah satu esensial penting dalam pelaksanaan pelayanan keperawatan yang bermutu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelayanan keperawatan berbasis theory of human caring terhadap mutu pelayanan keperawatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan quasy experimental design dengan post test with control group design. Responden penelitian ini yaitu 126 perawat yang dibagi menjadi kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah uji Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengukuran mutu pelayanan keperawatan yang dilakukan satu bulan setelah intervensi pelatihan terkait pelayanan berbasis teori human caring didapatkan perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok intervensi dengan kelompok kontrol dengan p = 0,000, dimana mutu pelayanan keperawatan pada kelompok intervensi lebih tinggi dengan skor nilai tengah 91, jika dibandingkan dengan skor pada kelompok kontrol sebesar 60. Pelatihan terkait pelayanan berbasis teori human caring kepada perawat dapat dijadikan salah satu strategi untuk meningkatkan perilaku caring dan mutu pelayanan keperawatan.References
