POLA MAKAN TIDAK TERATUR DENGAN KEJADIAN DISPEPSIA PADA IBU RUMAH TANGGA DI WILAYAH PERKOTAAN

Dispepsia merupakan gangguan pencernaan fungsional yang prevalensinya tinggi di wilayah perkotaan, terutama pada kelompok ibu rumah tangga. Kondisi ini ditandai dengan gejala seperti kembung, nyeri ulu hati, dan mual, yang dapat menurunkan kualitas hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara pola makan tidak teratur dan kejadian dispepsia pada ibu rumah tangga di daerah perkotaan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif analitik dengan desain potong lintang (cross-sectional). Sampel berjumlah 120 ibu rumah tangga yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner terstruktur yang memuat informasi frekuensi dan keteraturan makan, serta riwayat gejala dispepsia. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji chi-square dengan tingkat signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas responden memiliki pola makan tidak teratur, seperti melewatkan waktu makan atau makan pada jam yang berbeda setiap hari, dan mengalami gejala dispepsia. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pola makan tidak teratur dengan kejadian dispepsia (p<0,05). Ketidakteraturan waktu makan berpotensi menyebabkan gangguan motilitas lambung, peningkatan sekresi asam, serta ketidakseimbangan hormon gastrointestinal. Disimpulkan bahwa pola makan tidak teratur merupakan faktor risiko penting terjadinya dispepsia pada ibu rumah tangga di wilayah perkotaan. Upaya pencegahan dapat dilakukan melalui edukasi gizi, peningkatan kesadaran akan pentingnya jadwal makan teratur, serta pengelolaan stres.References
