DIAGNOSA VESTIBULAR NEURONITIS DAN BPPV DENGAN GEJALA UTAMA VERTIGO

Vertigo merupakan salah satu keluhan yang sering dijumpai dalam praktik klinis, dengan penyebab utama berasal dari gangguan sistem vestibular perifer seperti Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) dan Vestibular Neuronitis (VN). Penelitian ini merupakan kajian pustaka yang bertujuan untuk mengulas perbedaan karakteristik, diagnosis, dan penatalaksanaan kedua kondisi tersebut berdasarkan lima artikel ilmiah terbaru. Hasil tinjauan menunjukkan bahwa manuver Epley dan latihan Brandt-Daroff efektif dalam mengurangi gejala pada pasien BPPV, sedangkan kombinasi terapi rehabilitasi vestibular dan obat anti-vertigo lebih efektif untuk pasien VN. Diagnosis yang tepat menjadi kunci utama keberhasilan terapi, karena masing-masing kondisi membutuhkan pendekatan yang berbeda. Pemahaman yang komprehensif terhadap BPPV dan VN sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien dengan gejala utama vertigo.References
