TATA LAKSANA PEMERIKSAAN MRI BRAIN DENGAN KONTRAS PADA KASUS LESI HYPOPHYSIS

Adenoma hypophysis merupakan tumor intrakranial yang cukup umum, mencapai sekitar 10–15% dari seluruh kasus tumor otak. Diagnosis akurat sangat penting untuk menentukan penatalaksanaan yang tepat, dengan Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) sebagai modalitas utama. Pemeriksaan MRI dengan kontras, terutama Dynamic Contrast-Enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI), dapat meningkatkan sensitivitas deteksi lesi hypophysis. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tata laksana pemeriksaan MRI brain dengan kontras pada kasus lesi hypophysis dan mengevaluasi efektivitas protokol yang digunakan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi non-partisipan, wawancara dengan radiografer dan dokter spesialis radiologi, serta dokumentasi hasil MRI. Pemeriksaan dilakukan menggunakan MRI 1,5 Tesla dengan protokol pre dan post-kontras serta tambahan sekuens T1 TSE Coronal Dynamic dan T1 TSE Sagital 2mm. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan sekuens tambahan memungkinkan visualisasi struktur hypophysis dan lesi dengan lebih jelas. DCE-MRI efektif dalam mengevaluasi vaskularisasi jaringan, membedakan mikroadenoma dan makroadenoma, serta menilai hubungan lesi dengan struktur sekitar. Kesimpulannya, tata laksana MRI brain dengan kontras telah sesuai standar diagnostik dan memberikan informasi akurat terkait lesi hypophysis, meskipun pengembangan protokol lebih lanjut tetap diperlukan.References
