KARAKTERISTIK DAN HASIL PENGOBATAN PASIEN TUBERKULOSIS SELAMA DAN PASCA-PANDEMI COVID-19 DI INDONESIA

Pandemi Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) memberikan dampak yang besar di Indonesia, termasuk dalam pelayanan tuberkulosis (TBC). Di Indonesia, belum banyak penelitian sebelumnya yang melakukan analisis tingkat nasional terkait gambaran keberhasilan pengobatan TBC pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menganalisis gambaran karakteristik pasien dan hasil akhir pengobatan TBC sensitif obat (SO) selama dan pasca-pandemi COVID-19 di Indonesia. Penelitian epidemiologi deskriptif ini melakukan analisis terhadap seluruh pasien didiagnosis positif TBC SO di Indonesia yang memulai pengobatan TBC pada tahun 2020-2023 dan dilaporkan melalui sistem informasi TBC (SITB) milik Kementerian Kesehatan RI. Tingkat keberhasilan pengobatan dari pasien yang memulai pengobatan tahun 2020-2022 adalah sebesar 88% sementara pada tahun 2023 sebesar 87%. Tingkat keberhasilan pengobatan TBC tertinggi berasal dari kelompok usia <15 tahun, perempuan, tes cepat molekuler (TCM) tidak diperiksa atau tidak diketahui, terkonfirmasi bakteriologis, pasien TBC paru, menerima OAT program dan dilakukan pemeriksaan pemantauan akhir pengobatan serta mendapatkan pengobatan di puskesmas dan klinik pemerintah, baik selama maupun pasca-pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa tidak terdapat banyak perbedaan gambaran karakteristik pasien dan belum terlihat peningkatan keberhasilan pengobatan TBC antara periode selama dan setelah pandemi COVID-19. Berbagai tantangan dalam pelayanan dan pencapaian keberhasilan pengobatan TBC yang teridentifikasi perlu dilakukan analisis lebih lanjut dan diintegrasikan dalam rencana mitigasi selanjutnya.References
