TUBERKULOSIS MILIER PADA ANAK LAKI-LAKI USIA 10 TAHUN : LAPORAN KASUS

Tuberkulosis (TB) adalah penyakit menular kronis yang disebabkan oleh Mycobacterium tuberculosis, yang dapat menginfeksi paru-paru serta organ tubuh lainnya. Salah satu bentuk berat dari TB adalah tuberkulosis milier, yang terjadi akibat penyebaran hematogen dan memiliki angka kematian tinggi, terutama pada bayi. Pada kasus ini membahas seorang laki-laki berusia 10 tahun yang mengalami tuberkulosis milier, dengan keluhan batuk kering, demam, dan penurunan nafsu makan. Hasil pemeriksaan laboratorium menunjukkan peningkatan CRP dan serum transaminase, serta gambaran milier pada rontgen thoraks. Terapi awal menggunakan OAT FDC anak dilakukan, namun dihentikan sementara saat terjadi peningkatan serum transaminase. Pengobatan dilanjutkan dengan etambutol, dan pengawasan fungsi hati dilakukan secara berkala. Kesimpulan dari kasus ini menekankan pentingnya diagnosis yang tepat dan penanganan yang hati-hati, serta kebutuhan akan kontrol rutin untuk memastikan keberhasilan terapi dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien.References
