FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI INSIDENSI KUSTA PASCA KEMOPROFILAKSIS RIFAMPICIN DOSIS TUNGGAL DI DESA AERGALE WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS ONGKAW

Kusta masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia, termasuk di Desa Aergale, Minahasa Selatan. Pemberian kemoprofilaksis rifampicin dosis tunggal merupakan salah satu upaya pencegahan, namun efektivitasnya dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi insidensi kusta pasca kemoprofilaksis di wilayah tersebut. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain case-control dengan sampel 90 responden yang terdiri dari 30 kasus dan 60 kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara terstruktur dan pengukuran antropometri. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan uji chi-square dan regresi logistik. Analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pendidikan (p=0,000), status vaksinasi BCG (p=0,006), kepatuhan minum obat kemoprofilaksis (p=0,000), status ekonomi (p=0,000), kebersihan diri (p=0,000), dan riwayat kontak erat (p=0,000) berhubungan signifikan dengan insidensi kusta. Namun, status gizi tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan (p=0,349). Insidensi kusta pasca kemoprofilaksis masih dipengaruhi oleh faktor sosial, ekonomi, dan perilaku individu. Oleh karena itu, strategi pencegahan harus mencakup edukasi kesehatan, peningkatan akses ekonomi, serta penguatan monitoring dan evaluasi program kemoprofilaksis.References
