GANGGUAN TIDUR PADA LANSIA : TINJAUAN PUSTAKA SISTEMATIS

Lansia (terutama yang berusia di atas 65 tahun) mengalami masalah tidur yang mengganggu. Kondisi ini dikenal dengan nama “multifaced geriatric syndrome”. Kurang tidur berhubungan erat dengan peningkatan risiko kematian, penyakit jantung, penurunan kualitas hidup dan peningkatan risiko jatuh. Hal ini semua tidaklah terkait dengan proses penuaan yang normal. Artikel ini akan membahas gangguan tidur dan masalah lain yang terkait pada lansia, bagaimana cara mendiagnosisnya hingga tatalaksananya. Artikel ini menjelaskan gangguan tidur pada lansia. Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan analisis komparatif yang merujuk pada persyaratan dari Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) 2020 yang sudah dipastikan bahwa penelitian ini dilakukan dengan informasi terkini yang masih tersedia. Pendekatan pencarian ini mempertimbangkan publikasi yang diterbitkan dalam kurun waktu 2013 hingga 2023. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan berbagai sumber referensi online dari Pubmed atau SagePub. Pertimbangan untuk melakukan ekslusi dari antara lain dari review artikel atau karya yang belum lengkap. Basis data dari PubMed menghasilkan 233 artikel yang sesuai dengan permintaan kata kunci pencarian, sedangkan basis data dari SagePub menghasilkan 103 artikel. Pencarian yang dilakukan pada tahun terakhir 2013 menghasilkan total 76 artikel dari basis data PubMed dan 56 artikel dari basis data SagePub. Setelah dilakukan penyeleksian, peneliti mendapatkan total 21 artikel ilmiah yang berhasil dikumpulkan, dengan rincian 11 artikel bersumber dari database PubMed dan 10 artikel bersumber dari SagePub. Peneliti lalu mengintegrasikan enam studi yang memenuhi kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa insomnia merupakan kondisi yang sebagian besar terjadi pada lansia yang diikuti dengan gangguan pada saluran pernafasan.References
