HUBUNGAN TINGKAT KECEMASAN PREOPERASI DENGAN KEJADIAN MUAL MUNTAH PASIEN POST OPERASI DENGAN GENERAL ANESTESI (RS BHAYANGKARA TK III TEBING TINGGI SUMATERA UTARA)

General anesthesia merupakan suatu tindakan untuk menghilangkan nyeri, menghilangkan kesadaran dan menyebabkan amnesia pasien preoperasif. Pasien yang akan menjalani operasi sering merasa cemas yang disebabkan oleh banyak faktor. Kecemasan preoperasi dapat menjadi pemicu timbulnya mual hingga muntah (Post Operative Nausea and Vomiting). Penelitian ini menerapkan metode analitik korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional untuk menganalisis hubungan antara tingkat kecemasan pasien preoperasif dengan kejadian Post Operative Nausea and Vomiting (PONV) pasien general anestesi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Tk. III Tebing Tinggi dengan populasi penelitian sebanyak 100 pasien general anestesi dengan sampel sebanyak 50 orang. Teknik consecutive sampling digunakan untuk memilih sampel yang sesuai dengan kriteria penelitian dan analisis data dilakukan dengan 2 cara yakni secara univariat dalam tabel distribusi frekuensi dan bivariat dengan menggunakan teknik uji Rank Spearman Rho. Dari hasil penelitian ini, diperoleh hasil kesehatan pasien preoperasif di Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Tk. III Tebing Tinggi mengalami cemas berat (32,0%) dan mayoritas pasien mengalami retching atau muntah (60,0%). Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara kecemasan preoperatif dengan kejadian Post-Operative Nausea Vomiting (PONV) pada pasien general anestesi di Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Tk.III Tebing Tinggi dengan p-value=0,001, dengan koefisien korelasi tingkat sedang (r=0,463). Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dapat diketahui bahwa kecemasan preoperatif berhubungan dengan kejadian PONV pada pasien general anestesi.References
