DETERMINAN RETENSI DIMEDIASI KETERLIBATAN KARYAWAN PADA PERAWAT GENERASI Y DAN Z

Karyawan merupakan aset organisasi yang paling penting, berharga dan produktif. Organisasi harus mampu mengidentifikasi upaya untuk mempertahankan karyawan yang bertalenta. Retensi karyawan dapat menjadi investasi jangka panjang dalam pertumbuhan dan daya saing di masa depan. Adanya karakteristik dari generasi Y dan Z yang cenderung berpindah-pindah tempat kerja dalam kurun waktu cukup cepat memunculkan tantangan bagi organisasi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif asosiatif dengan desain cross sectional. Dengan metode survei deskriptif menggunakan data primer berupa kuesioner dengan jumlah sampel 96 orang responden. Teknik sampling menggunakan sampel jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa iklim organisasi dan preferensi generasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap retensi karyawan dengan keterlibatan karyawan sebagai variabel intervening. Iklim organisasi dan keterlibatan karyawan masing-masing memiliki pengaruh langsung yang signifikan terhadap retensi karyawan. Sedangkan preferensi generasi tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap retensi karyawan. Namun, preferensi generasi akan berpengaruh terhadap retensi karyawan bila dimediasi oleh keterlibatan karyawan. Saran agar rumah sakit menyediakan beasiswa untuk melanjutkan pendidikan formal bagi jajaran manajerial yang belum memenuhi kualifikasi pendidikan yang sesuai dengan jabatannya, menyelenggarakan program pendidikan dan pelatihan yang berhubungan dengan kompetensi klinis serta melaksanakan supervisi terhadap kinerja oleh kepala unit, perawat pendidik dan manajer keperawatan, melaksanakan program engagement karyawan, dan menyusun carier pathway atau mapping jenjang karir bagi setiap karyawan.References
