LAPORAN KASUS : KEJADIAN BAKTERIAL VAGINOSIS PADA WANITA 38 TAHUN DENGAN HERPES GENITAL

Bakterialis Vaginosis (BV) dan virus herpes simpleks tipe 2 (HSV-2) adalah 2 infeksi yang sangat umum menyerang saluran genital wanita. Penelitian telah menunjukkan bahwa wanita yang didiagnosis dengan virus herpes simpleks-2 (HSV-2) memiliki risiko lebih tinggi terhadap infeksi bacterial vaginosis (BV). Kasus: Seorang wanita 38 tahun, datang dengan keluhan luka di bibir kelamin sejak 2 bulan lalu. Keluhan disertai keputihan kental berlendir dan berbau amis. Luka dirasakan semakin nyeri dalam 5 hari ini dan semakin luas. Diskusi: Adanya infeksi herpes genital menyebabkan perubahan lingkungan fisiologis dan imunologis vagina sehingga terjadi penurunan laktobasilus vagina yang meningkatkan risiko BV. Gambaran klinis, investigasi, diagnosis, dan penanganan kondisi telah diuraikan dalam tinjauan tersebut. Kesimpulan: Pada kasus menunjukkan herpes genital berhubungan dengan terjadinya BV. Namun masih diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai hal tersebut. Pasien diberikan tatalaksana yang sesuai dan didapatkan kemajuan terapi yang ditandai dengan penurunan jumlah lesi dan berkurangnya keluhan.References
