TANTANGAN DALAM IMPLEMENTASI PENGGUNAAN ALAT PELINDUNG DIRI DI PERUSAHAAN LOGISTIK KEPELABUHAN

Cidera akibat pekerjaan yang terkait dengan penyalahgunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) di dunia mencapai 2 juta pekerja, sementara Kecelakaan akibat penyalahgunaan penggunaan APD di Indonesia berdasarkan data BPJS ketenagakerjaan mencapai 157.313 kasus. penggunaan APD di beberapa perusahaan khususnya perusahaan Pelabuhan masih banyak mengalami tantangan, masih banyak karyawan yang tidak mematuhi penggunaan APD meskipun sudah dilakukan upaya pemberian infromasi dari induksi keselamatan, papan keselamatan dan inspeksi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan metode pengambilan data primer di lakukan dengan wawancara 3 orang informan utama, 2 orang informan kunci dan 1 orang informan pendukung, observasi dan telaah dokumen, Analisa data menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data, reduksi, penyajian dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pengetahuan karyawan masih rendah akibat pelatihan yang tidak dapat dijalankan secara konsisten dan menyeluruh akibat keterbatasan waktu pelatihan, tenaga pengajar dan keterbatasan menempatkan media edukasi dilapangan, dukungan atasan belum maksimal dengan tidak mencotohkan penggunaan APD, pengawasan belum dilakukan secara sistematis dan terukur dan dukungan manajemen belum sampai pada menyampaikan kampanye pentingnya APD dilapangan. Memberikan waktu pelatihan kepada karyawan di luar jam bekerja, menyiapkan media komunikasi mengenai APD di lapangan dalam bentuk video-video, meningkatkan keterlibatan supervisor dan team leader dalam pengawasan dan contoh APD, Menyusun prosedur dan implementasi hukuman dan penghargaan APD, dan meningkatkan peran top level manajemen dalam memberikan kampanye pentingnya APD kepada karyawanReferences
