HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN DAN KEPATUHAN MINUM OBAT ANTI BIOTIK DI KLINIK UNIVERSITAS ADVENT INDONESIA

Antibiotik merupakan terapi utama untuk mengatasi infeksi bakteri. Namun, penggunaan yang tidak rasional, seperti menghentikan antibiotik sebelum waktunya atau penggunaan tanpa indikasi yang tepat, dapat menyebabkan resistensi bakteri. Tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai antibiotik diyakini berperan penting dalam membentuk perilaku kepatuhan terhadap penggunaan antibiotik. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan pasien dengan tingkat kepatuhan minum obat antibiotik di Klinik Universitas Advent Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian menganalisis apakah terdapat hubungan signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan pasien tentang antibiotik dan kepatuhan mereka dalam mengonsumsi antibiotik sesuai dengan resep dokter. Metode penelitian ini Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain analitik korelasional dan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sebanyak 82 pasien rawat jalan yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman Rho karena data tidak terdistribusi normal. Hasil yang didapatkan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang baik tentang antibiotik (51,2%), namun tingkat kepatuhan minum antibiotik masih tergolong rendah (93,9% responden berada pada kategori kepatuhan kurang). Uji korelasi Spearman Rho menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan dan kepatuhan (p=0,166; r=0,154), meskipun arah hubungan positif sangat lemah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini Tingkat pengetahuan pasien tentang antibiotik di Klinik Universitas Advent Indonesia secara umum baik, namun tidak secara signifikan berhubungan dengan tingkat kepatuhan minum antibiotik.References
