STUDI ROUNDED SHOULDER POSTURE PADA WANITA LANJUT USIA: PERAN KINESIOTAPING IN STRETCHING EXERCISE

Rounded Shoulder Posture (RSP) merupakan salah satu masalah postur yang umum terjadi pada lansia akibat perubahan fisiologis sistem muskuloskeletal. Kondisi ini menyebabkan ketidakseimbangan otot, membatasi mobilitas, dan mengurangi kualitas hidup. Kombinasi kinesiotaping dan stretching exercise dinilai dapat menjadi metode yang efektif untuk memperbaiki postur tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kombinasi kinesiotaping dan stretching exercise terhadap perubahan sudut RSP pada lansia wanita. Penelitian kuasi-eksperimental ini menggunakan desain non-randomized two-group pre-test and post-test. Sebanyak 24 lansia wanita berusia 60 tahun di Griya Werdha Jambangan, Surabaya, dibagi menjadi dua kelompok: kelompok kinesiotaping dan kelompok kombinasi kinesiotaping dengan stretching exercise. Pengukuran sudut RSP dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi Physiocode Posture sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan selama dua minggu. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk dan uji t-sampel bebas. Hasil menunjukkan penurunan rata-rata sudut RSP sebesar 0,98° pada kelompok stretching exercise dan 1,32° pada kelompok kombinasi (p-0,001). Kelompok kombinasi menunjukkan penurunan sudut RSP yang lebih signifikan dibandingkan k elompok stretching exercise. Kombinasi kinesiotaping dan stretching exercise terbukti lebih efektif dalam memperbaiki RSP dibandingkan stretching exercise saja. Intervensi ini dapat menjadi alternatif penanganan postur tubuh pada lansia, khususnya perempuan, untuk meningkatkan mobilitas dan kualitas hidup mereka. Pengawasan fisioterapis diperlukan untuk memastikan pelaksanaan teknik yang benar dan menghindari risiko cedera.References
