HUBUNGAN STRES PSIKOLOGIS DENGAN GEJALA GASTRITIS PADA MAHASISWA FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN UNIVERSITAS TARUMANAGARA ANGKATAN 2020

Gastritis merupakan salah satu penyakit sistem pencernaan yang disebabkan adanya peradangan pada mukosa lambung yang dapat menimbulkan gejala gangguan sistem gastrointestinal seperti sensasi nyeri pada epigastrium, mual dan muntah. Timbulnya gejala gastritis dapat disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalah stres psikis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan stres psikis dengan terjadinya gejala gastritis pada mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Tarumanagara angkatan 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian observasional analitik dengan studi cross-sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Tarumanagara angkatan 2020 yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan tidak termasuk kedalam kriteria eksklusi maupun dropout. Total sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebesar 143 responden. Penelitian dilakukan secara daring dengan memberikan kuesioner melalui media Google Form, dan teknik analisis menggunakan Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden yang mengalami stres psikis ringan sebanyak 30 (21%) mahasiswa, sedang 99 (69,2%) mahasiswa dan berat 14 (9,8%) mahasiswa. Responden yang menderita gejala gastritis adalah sebanyak 133 (93,0%) mahasiswa. Secara statistik didapatkan adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara stres psikis dengan timbulnya gejala gastritis (p = 0,017, p<0.05) dan tingkat kekuatan hubungan antara stres psikis dengan timbulnya gejala gastritis berkorelasi sangat lemah (0,199). Nilai positif koefisien korelasi diartikan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat stres responden semakin tinggi pula risiko timbulnya gejala gastritisReferences
