TANTANGAN IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN RUMAH SAKIT (SIM-RS) DI RSD LIUN KENDAGE TAHUNA KEPULAUAN SANGIHE

Implementasi Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit (SIM-RS) di Indonesia menghadapi berbagai tantangan, terutama di rumah sakit daerah terpencil seperti RSD Liun Kendage Tahuna, Kepulauan Sangihe. SIM-RS bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pelayanan kesehatan, namun kondisi geografis, keterbatasan sumber daya manusia (SDM), dan keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi menjadi penghambat signifikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi tantangan utama dalam implementasi SIM-RS di RSD Liun Kendage Tahuna. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan wawancara mendalam terhadap 10 partisipan yang terdiri dari tenaga medis, staf IT, dan manajemen rumah sakit. Data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan tematik untuk mengidentifikasi tema-tema kunci mengenai tantangan implementasi SIM-RS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor geografis menghambat konektivitas internet yang stabil dan mempersulit akses vendor untuk perangkat teknologi yang dibutuhkan. Selain itu, keterbatasan SDM dalam hal kualifikasi IT dan minimnya pelatihan menjadi kendala dalam penggunaan SIM-RS. Infrastruktur teknologi di RSD Liun Kendage juga masih terbatas, dengan perangkat keras dan sistem pendukung yang belum optimal. Diperlukan strategi mitigasi yang mencakup peningkatan pelatihan SDM, investasi pada infrastruktur teknologi, dan upaya mengatasi kendala geografis untuk memastikan keberhasilan implementasi SIM-RS di RSD Liun Kendage Tahuna. Langkah-langkah ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesiapan rumah sakit dalam mengoptimalkan SIM-RS guna meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan di daerah kepulauan.References
