HUBUNGAN DERAJAT KEPARAHAN AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER DENGAN INDEKS PRESTASI AKADEMIK SISWA SLB NEGERI 2 BULELENG TAHUN AJARAN 2023-2024

Prevalensi Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) terus meningkat secara global. Sekitar 1 dari 68 anak terdiagnosis autisme. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara derajat keparahan Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) dengan indeks prestasi akademik siswa di SLB Negeri 2 Buleleng pada tahun ajaran 2023-2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan sejumlah siswa dengan ASD, di mana data mengenai tingkat keparahan ASD dan indeks prestasi akademik dikumpulkan dan dianalisis. Adapun jumlah sampel yang diteliti sebanyak 26 sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa memiliki tingkat keparahan ASD yang tergolong berat (46,15%). Rerata indeks prestasi akademik siswa mencapai 73,90 ± 2,50, yang termasuk dalam kategori "baik." Analisis korelasi menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara derajat keparahan ASD dengan indeks prestasi akademik, dengan arah hubungan negatif dan kekuatan hubungan lemah (r = -0,413). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi derajat keparahan ASD, semakin rendah indeks prestasi akademik siswa.References
