PERBANDINGAN EFEKTIVITAS ROUX-EN-Y GASTRIC BYPASS DAN SLEEVE GASTRECTOMY DI RS SUMBER WARAS 2022-2023

Obesitas didefinisikan dengan akumulasi lemak abnormal dengan nilai ambang IMT (Indeks Massa Tubuh) > 30, obesitas telah berkembang menjadi epidemi menurut WHO dengan lebih dari 4 juta orang meninggal pada tahun 2017. Bedah bariatrik merupakan salah satu pengobatan yang efektif untuk obesitas morbid. Prosedur bariatrik yang paling umum adalah adalah Sleeve Gastrectomy dan Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass. Mengetahui perbedaan penurunan berat badan Pasca Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass dan Sleeve Gastrectomy di Rumah Sakit Sumber Waras, Jakarta Barat pada tahun 2022-2023.Desain penelitian ini adalah observasional retrospektif dengan pendekatan Cohort. Besar sampel sebanyak 128 pasien yang diperoleh dari rekam medis Rumah Sakit Sumber Waras serta dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS. Diantara 128 pasien (LSG: usia rata-rata, 41,77 tahun; 100% perempuan; rata-rata IMT 37,26 dan RYGB: usia rata-rata, 38,53 tahun; 90,6% perempuan dan 6% laki-laki; rata-rata IMT 38,58) .Dua metode yang diuji menunjukkan signifikansi dalam penurunan berat badan dan persentase penurunannya (p < 0,05). Metode LSG memiliki tingakat korelasi 0,600, artinya pada kategori kuat sedangkan metode RYGB memiliki tingkatkorelasi 0,801, menunjukkan hubungan yang sangat kuat. Dapat disimpulakan bahwa keduanya efektif dalam menurunkan berat badan. LSG lebih aman dengan risiko komplikasi pasca-operasi lebih rendah daripada RYGB. Namun, LSG dapat menyebabkan defisiensi zat besi dan vitamin D lebih rendah, serta kelainan kalsium dan fosfor yang lebih sedikit. Perdarahan pasca-operasi lebih jarang terjadi pada LSG. RYGB memiliki tingkat perbaikan yang tinggi pada gastroesophageal reflux. Metode Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass (RYGB) lebih efektif dalam menurunkan berat badan pada pasien obesitas dibandingkan metode Sleeve Gastrectomy (LSG).References
