UJI BAKTERIOLOGIS AIR MINUM ISI ULANG DENGAN BAKTERI ESCHERICHIA COLI dan COLIFORM SEBAGAI INDIKATOR

Air minum yang tercemar serta sanitasi yang buruk dapat menyebabkan penyakit menular diantaranya kolera, diare, disentri, dan polio. Kualitas air minum yang buruk sangat mempengaruhi kesehatan manusia. Risiko kesehatan yang paling umum dan tersebar luas terkait dengan air minum adalah kontaminasi mikroba. Hingga 80% dari semua penyakit di dunia disebabkan oleh sanitasi yang tidak memadai, air yang tercemar atau tidak tersedianya air. Bakteri patogen Escherichia coli dan Coliform saat ini digunakan untuk menilai kontaminasi dalam pengelolaan kualitas air. Berdasarkan hasil review literatur dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat tiga faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas bakteriologis air minum isi ulang diantaranya adalah kondisi peralatan sanitasi air minum isi ulang, lokasi tempat bangunan penyedia air minum isi ulang, dan personal hygiene dari petugas operator pengisian air minum isi ulangReferences
