Senyawa yang menghambat reaksi oksidasi dan mengikat radikal bebas serta molekul yang sangat reaktif dikenal sebagai antioksidan. Antioksidan dapat ditemukan diberbagai tanaman dan tumbuhan termasuk tanaman dengan family zingiberaceae. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah review article dari beberapa data base google scholar, pubmed, sciencedirect. Antioksidan dapat diidentifikasi serapan maksimumnya dengan menggunakan instrument spektrofotometri uv-vis dengan serapan maksimum pada range 400-750 nm.Downloads
