Focus and Scope
Aims
Journal on Livestock and Animal Health aims to publish original research results and reviews on farm tropical livestock and their health such as cattle, buffaloes, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, poultry, as well as non-domesticated Indonesian endemic animals, such as deers, the anoa, the babirusa, etc.
Scope
Journal on Livestock and Animal Health encompasses a broad range of research topics in animal sciences eg. breeding and genetics, reproduction and physiology, nutrition, feed sciences, agrostology, animal products, biotechnology, behaviour, welfare, health and veterinary, livestock farming system, socio-economic, animal waste management, and policy.
Peer Review Process
All articles submitted to the editorial staff will go through Initial Review processes by the Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to peer reviewers for the next step of the selection, the Double-Blind Review Process. The articles will be returned to the authors for revision as soon as the double-blind review process is finished. These processes can take up to 1 month. Each manuscript will be peer-reviewed in terms of the substantial and technical aspects. The article will be reviewed by two people, The peer review team is all experienced in the management and publication of national and international academic journals.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
