Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang berjudul “Penguatan Kemampuan Berpikir Komputasional dan Pendidikan Karakter Berbasis Etika Pemanfaatan Teknologi” di Bimbel Farel Education Centre (FEC) ini, bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman, peningkatan, serta pengembangan kompetensi dan keterampilan pendidik, sehingga mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir komputasional dan pendidikan karakter berbasis etika pemanfaatan teknologi. Permasalahan yang terdapat di Bimbel Farel Education Centre (FEC) adalah pendidik belum dapat mengembangkan kompetensi dan keterampilan secara terpadu dalam memaknai pembelajaran sepanjang hayat yang mampu memenuhi tuntutan perubahan dan kebutuhan masyarakat. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pendekatan partisipatif, dengan metode pelatihan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pendidik Bimbel Farel Education Centre (FEC) menyadari pentingnya pemahaman, peningkatan, serta pengembangan kompetensi dan keterampilan secara terpadu dalam memaknai pembelajaran sepanjang hayat, terutama melalui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir komputasional dan pendidikan karakter berbasis etika pemanfaatan teknologi di zaman yang terus berkembang dengan pesat.
