Dampak masalah lingkungan yang semakin nyata mencerminkan kebutuhan mendesak untuk meningkatkan kesadaran ekologis di kalangan masyarakat, terutama generasi muda. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan serta keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dengan mengintegrasikan ecoliteracy (literasi ekologis) dan kemampuan berpikir kritis melalui pendekatan Problem-Based Learning (PBL). Dalam kegiatan ini, siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Medan membuat poster dalam bahasa Inggris sebagai bagian dari pembelajaran mereka. Integrasi ecoliteracy dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris diharapkan tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa tetapi juga menumbuhkan kesadaran akan pentingnya menjaga lingkungan. Melalui pendekatan PBL, diharapkan siswa menjadi lebih sadar dan aktif dalam berkontribusi terhadap pelestarian lingkungan di sekitar mereka.References
