IDENTIFIKASI KEJADIAN WORKPLACE BULLYING, PSYCHOLOGICAL DISTRESS, DAN SATISFACTION WITH LIFE DI UNIVERSITAS X

Perundungan (bullying) dapat memberikan tekanan yang signifikan di tempat kerja dan dapat merusak reputasi suatu organisasi jika dibiarkan sehingga sangat penting melakukan penelitian terkait aspek psikososial (bullying) di tempat kerja. Pekerja sector pendidikan merupakan pekerja yang harus menghadapi situasi kerja yang sangat berisiko terjadinya kejadian bullying dari berbagai pihak dan menuntut perfoma yang tinggi. Di Universitas X, hal ini dapat menimbulkan dampak bencana, berbagai perspektif tentang perundungan dapat memicu stres yang mempengaruhi kondisi psikososial korban dan kinerja Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian cross-sectional dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada tenaga kerja yang bekerja di Universitas X dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 251. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat adanya Workplace Bullying, Psychological Distress, dan Satisfaction with Life. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi kejadian bullying meningkatkan tingkat stress pekerja di Universitas X tetapi tidak menurunkan kepuasan hidup. Walaupun didapatkan kejadian bullying yang rendah di Universitas X, manajemen harus tetap waspada dan segera bertindak untuk mengidentifikasi dan mencegah terjadinya perilaku negatif. Hal ini penting untuk mencegah terjadinya korban bullying dan penerapan program anti bullying yang tepat di tempat kerja, sehingga tingkat stres tidak meningkat dan kepuasan bekerja tetap terjaga dengan melihat konteks dan lingkungan Universitas sehingga dapat dikembangkan program, yang tepat sasaran, ekonomis, hemat waktu dan terarah.References
