PENGARUH FOOT STRENGTHENING EXERCISE TERHADAP POSTUR KAKI PRONASI

Postur kaki pronasi meupakan fenomena perubahan alignment subtalar joint menjadi eversi dan mendatarnya arkus medial longitudinal. Fenomena postur kaki pronasi menjadi salah satu bentuk fenomena yang harus diperhatikan. Kerjasama antara dokter anak, fisioterapis, dan guru sangat dibutuhkan pada kondisi ini agar orang tua tahu betapa pentingnya seorang anak untuk memulai latihan dan mulai mengkoreksi postur kaki sedini mungkin, karena akan sangat sulit jika harus dikoreksi di kemudian hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh foot strengthening exercise terhadap peningkatan navicular height pada postur kaki pronasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan desain berbentuk one group pre and post test with control group dan perlakuan dilakukan seminggu sekali terapi selama 4 minggu. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP N 24 Surakarta menjadi subjek penelitian yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok menggunakan teknik random sampling. Kelompok I diberikan foot strengthening exercise (n=24) dan kelompok II sebagai kelompok kontrol tidak diberikan perlakuan (n=24). Uji statistik menggunakan wilcoxon test didapatkan p=0.014 pada pengukuran navicular drop test dan p=0.025 pada pengukuran foot posture index. Pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian foot strengthening exercise dapat meningkatkan navicular height pada postur kaki pronasi.References
